You will have many calls where slow seduction is not an option. Your caller is in a hurry, he's started basically without you, or he's a "professional" caller who knows how to get what he wants quickly. Fortunately, you will have a lot of calls where you can go slowly! It's imperative to figure out which call is which, and make sure you don't do anything to hurry your caller along...

TRY TO PICTURE HIM!

Listen carefully to how he speaks, how he describes himself - close your eyes and REALLY try to picture him! Ask for details... but you can't say "Oh you sound hot - give me lots of details!" You need to ask him specific questions - about things he left out, or further questions about things he's told you.
