The higher your hold time, the more money you make! Here are some suggestions that will help you lengthen your calls and keep your callers happy at the same time.

The number one thing to remember on these calls if you want to keep your caller on is to GO SLOW... of course, if your caller sounds impatient or obviously wants you to pick up the pace, go as fast as necessary, but a LOT of your callers will be in less of a hurry. It's a huge mistake to rush these guys along. Flirt, ask a lot of questions about him, and hang on his every word. This will let him know that you find him interesting and enjoy talking with him, and make him want to stay on the line...

Take control a bit at the beginning of the call... whenever it's possible, steer your caller into a little small talk at the beginning. He's still checking out your voice and deciding whether or not to continue the call with you at all at that point. Ask some light, easy to answer questions like - "did you just get in from work?" or "South Dakota? I've never been there - is it nice?"... just to break the ice a little and let him hear how good you sound!

Be ready for the different "types" of calls. While most calls will end up being about regular sexy subjects, we also have specialty calls coming in. Sometimes the whisper message will tell you in advance that your caller is looking for something unusual, and sometimes the caller will let you know. Either way, it's very good to be ready for these calls, and have some idea how to handle them. Some will fall under the category of fetish calls, while some are just a matter of adopting an accent or trying to sound younger or older for a call. Thinking about, researching, and having some idea of what you're going to do when you receive these calls will really increase your confidence level and hold time.
