A lot of people just don't listen! Have you noticed that? You can tell because when they're on the listening end of a conversation, they're simply waiting for the other person to finish talking so that they can say what's on their mind. True listening means doing your best to pay attention only to what the other person is saying to you, not just waiting for them to be quiet so you can talk about yourself.

Spend some time getting to know your callers at the beginning of your calls…  Listen to him, and sincerely try to find out more about him. Pay close attention to the things he says and look for conversation starters about HIM! Have you heard the saying, "Everyone's Favorite Subject is Himself" ?? If you think about it, it's very true... and keeping that in mind during your calls will result in much longer calls, and callers who feel a strange attraction to you, simply because you paid sincere attention to him. Look for clues in the things he says. Find out where he is…  is it somewhere you’ve been, or maybe it’s near where (you say) you are on your calls…  tell him!  Maybe someone you know lived there and said bla bla bla about it... Maybe tease him a little about where he's from and let him defend the place, or agree with you... These are all nice icebreakers that allow the call to go slow while he's warming up to you.

Does he have an accent?  A deep voice?  Tell him!  Dig even deeper if he seems to be enjoying just chatting….   Listen to how he says the name of the place where he is… Does he sound proud to be from there, or maybe he sounds like he’s dying to get away…  Don't make the mistake of assuming all callers are the same, or want the same thing, and getting stuck in a "rut".

Be ready for the different types of calls. While most calls will end up being about regular sexy subjects, we also have specialty calls coming in. Sometimes the whisper message will tell you in advance that your caller is looking for something unusual, and sometimes the caller will let you know. Either way, it's very good to be ready for these calls, and have some idea how to handle them. Some will fall under the category of fetish calls, while some are just a matter of adopting an accent or trying to sound younger or older for a call. Thinking about, researching, and having some idea of what you're going to do when you receive these calls will really increase your confidence level and hold time.
