What your greeting sounds like is very important! This is where you will get most of your calls. When a caller comes into our system, he is offered the opportunity to listen to the voice greetings of all the girls online, and select the one he wants. Some callers skip this step and ask to be transferred at random to the next available girl, but MOST callers like to go through the greetings first and choose their own girl. Come up with a tempting greeting to attract the most callers.

If you're wondering wether to go with an explicit greeting, or a more friendly, down-to-earth (and just a little naughty) greeting to get the most calls, we've found that the friendly and just a bit naughty ones seem to get selected the most by our callers. Most of the time, your caller is going to want to feel like HE got you hot. He's turned off by girls who sound like they're still excited from another call... So don’t sound as though you’ve started without him!  It should be his voice, and the sexy way he talks, his hot story, or the things he's into that got you turned on. This is a very personal experience and all calls need to be treated that way.

Come up with a greeting that makes you seem approachable and sexy. One of our most popular greetings in the past went something like this:

Fetish or Vanilla?

While we DO recieve fetish calls, we don't actually advertise that type of thing, so most of our callers will be "plain vanilla" guys... if you want to mention some unusual things that you're proficient at, you should probably introduce them a little further into your greeting - after mentioning the more "ordinary" skills you might have... you don't want to scare the majority of your potential callers away!

Updating Greetings

Change your greeting often to keep things new and calls coming in. Some operators change it every time they log in, even adding "It's Saturday night, and I'm feeling..." to let callers know the message is current. Change your greeting at minimum once a month, to keep things interesting for our repeat callers.

Language on Greetings

Avoid explicit words on your 888 number greetings, due to the fact that our 900 callers hear these greetings too… Avoid any words that you wouldn’t hear on daytime network (not cable!) television… follow the same rules that you would for a 900 call.

Greetings that start with “Hi guys – I’m the hottest, sexiest, best most fantastic and beautiful girl on this line” don't do very well.  Don’t be intimidating!  These are just regular guys and they’re looking for nice, sexy, normal girls to connect with… if your greeting makes you sound very “into” yourself, you may be receiving less calls than you could…

Resist the temptation to give your extension number out during your greeting…  He only needs to press 9 to get you, so why make him and all the other callers listen to you rattle off a number while they’re checking out your voice… he won’t know until the call whether he even wants your extension number.  Instead, make the most of your greeting by using use the time to let him know how friendly and approachable you are!

Be sure you’re telling him to press 9 at least once during your greeting so that he can connect with you right away J

It’s probably best not to say things like, “I’m so glad you called me” (he hasn’t called you yet..) and make sure you don’t sound desperate - “Please please please press 9 now” is not sexy!

It’s a good idea to write up a short script of what you’re going to say ahead of time, and make sure you do your recording from a good quality phone, with no background noise…
