If your caller is looking for another girl, don't be offended! Be glad that you're working with girls who make guys want to call again! Sometimes this will benefit you by creating more calls directly to you when she's unavailable, other times you'll be working alongside her and she'll be unavailable more often than most girls so again - more calls for you.

DON'T tell him to hang up and call back! Every time a guy hangs up, there's a chance he won't dial in again...

If he doesn't have her extension and can't find her in our menu, try to keep him on the line with you.

Be helpful and sexy! Try to flirt a little bit and draw him in! Something like, "I'm not sure if she's on tonight... you know, I really love a Southern accent like yours..." HOWEVER CHEESY - it shows him that you're listening to him and like something about him. Sometimes this is all he needs to make him stay right where he is.

If he's just asking to get back to the menu, tell him to press the # sign... or you can press it for him.

If your caller wants to meet you: Be flattered! There's no reason to be apprehensive - he can't find you, and some guys really don't know what the rules are on this type of a line.

It's important that you DON'T say something like, "Well, I don't meet any of my callers..." Saying something of that sort sounds like you wouldn't meet him if you could! While this may be true, it is not going to make your caller feel as though you like him.

A MUCH BETTER answer would be something like, "Aww honey, I really wish we could! This company just doesn't allow us to meet our callers..." - and be sure that you genuinely sound sorry that you can't. This puts the blame on us, so your caller knows it's not your decision.

If your caller asks how much this call is costing him: tell him the truth - you don't know! You're answering calls on different numbers and since you don't handle any of the billing... he should have heard the cost per minute multiple times before he connected with you...
